Over the years I've come to love the beauty and spiritualism of Native American art and culture. The symbolism is truly awesome in every way. The basis of much of the Native American Indian symbolism is that people need to become one with nature, which holds the answers to all mysteries in this life and the next.
From the medicine wheel, to each animal symbol, we can identify with some or all aspects which then attract us to them. Black Elk once predicted that a time would come when the white people would want to understand more of the Native ways and culture. He further stated that it should be a welcome sign and that both races would benefit from the union. I believe that time has come.
